Dr. Emad Khan is a clinician, researcher, and teacher. He graduated first in his class earning his BDS from King Abdulaziz University (KAU) – Faculty of Dentistry, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He completed a year of internship in general and hospital dentistry. He then held a faculty position as a demonstrator in Oral Diagnosis and Radiology at KAU where he was granted a full scholarship to pursue a graduate specialty training and doctoral degree abroad. He earned his MS degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, and PhD degree in Oral Biology, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH).

Dr. Khan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (ABOMR) and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He is a member in several professional organizations such as the Saudi Dental Society (SDS), the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (AAOMR), International Association of Dento-Maxillo-Facial Radiology (IADMFR), AGD, International (and American) Association for Dental Research (IADR/AADR), American Association of Immunologists (AAI), and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA).
